- Philippians 1:9-11

What people say...
I am so grateful to have experienced Minister Tompkin's class on Discernment. She was a warm and engaging facilitator who made room for us to learn from the stories of others in the course. The class helped to deepen my thinking and expand my perspective on whom I believe God to be and the infinite ways in which the Spirit speaks. She exhorted us to look again, listen closely, and to be curious about what God is saying. The concrete strategies to help us experience an infinite God was truly profound. It was a marvelous class and I recommend for anyone interested in growing and experiencing the divine in new ways.

I attended the Discernment seminar presented by Living in Hope Ministries and was and am totally blessed by the experience. Having a knowledgeable facilitator present information is good, but having the material presented in an experiential manner makes the learning powerful and personal. Toni Tompkins is knowledgeable and is living a God discerning life. She was willing and able to be vulnerable as different discernment methods were presented. She modeled what it looks like as we move toward a more God centered life. She made space for everyone in the group who wanted to participate and left space for those that preferred to observe. As a direct result of this seminar, I have knowledge and practical experience that is improving my ability to discern God’s voice from other voices.
If you ever have an opportunity to participate in any Living in Hope Ministries activity, I strongly encourage you to attend-either virtually and/or in person. You will not regret it AND you will discover many beneficial methods to strengthen your walk with Christ, wherever you are on the journey.
